A snapshot of guest ratings and stories behind the stay.
“Is this place retro, yes. It it fancy no. I read the comments before booking our room and I have to tell you, some people are just too all about me for their own good. Our room was CLEAN and very well maintained for the age of the place. I loved the striped wallpaper and the box tv. It had a charm all its own. We are not bed and breakfast or resort kind of people and this place was right up our alley. They messed up our reservations when we got there and we had our email confirming our stay and it was fixed right away. We loved it and would do it again. We even got to enjoy a family of foxes on the property. It added to the charm of our stay.”
“Really happy with my visit to Spruceglen Inn. Quiet, cozy, and exactly what I needed for the trip. The room was clean and comfortable, and check-in was a breeze. Definitely worth a visit if you're in Grand Marais.”
